Ao 4º álbum, 10 anos depois do 1º, os Yeah Yeah Yeahs continuam a trilhar o seu caminho no rock dançável, modo nova-iorquino. De forma consistente, com alguns rasgos de excepcionalidade, o quarteto prossegue a fórmula que convenceu nos álbuns anteriores, correndo no entanto o risco de tornar a sua discografia um conjunto demasiado igual, apesar das boas músicas.

Na senda, que nunca esconderam, de renovar o rock, eles dão-lhe aqui e além tons de outras paragens, como o rap de Keith Matthew Thornton, como Dr. Octagon, em 'Buried Alive', faixa que conta ainda com a produção de James Murphy ou 'Sacrilege', single com direito a final gospel vibrante e absorvente.

Do melhor é mesmo a versatilidade da voz de Karen O, que sempre em registos diferentes nos consegue modelar a percepção de cada música, afirmando-se como uma das mais belas vozes que o rock conhece.
