Membro dos Emeralds, operadores, a par de outras bandas também editadas pela Not Fun Records como Pocahaunted, Sun Araw ou Inca Ore, de uma justaposição psicadélica reflectida enquanto continuum orgânico, o norte-americano Mark McGuire apresenta-se pela primeira vez a solo no nosso país.
Trabalhando essencialmente com guitarra eléctrica e sintetizadores analógicos, McGuire desfocaliza-se em relação ao real, movimentando-se tanto por não-lugares reminiscentes do ambientalismo kraut dos anos 70 – Cluster, Ash Ra Tempel, Popol Vüh... – como submerso numa melancólica envolvência entre-géneros, onde tanto cabem o 'Plux Quba' de Nuno Canavarro como o 'White Light / White Heat' dos Velvet Undergound.
