Numa altura em que se respira política no nosso pequeno jardim, aproveitamos também para o fazer, embora noutros termos. Deep Politics é o mais recente trabalho para os norte-americanos Grails, lançado no passado mês de Março. Como habitual, não se puseram a cantar, nem ousaram entrar por caminhos diferentes. Limitaram-se a fazer o que fazem bem, e pode dizer-se que se esmeraram. Jogos de guitarras eléctricas e acústicas, ambientes pós-rock mais densos e carregados e as teclas solitárias de um piano são apenas alguns dos elementos que podemos encontrar neste álbum.

Depois de Dear Science, lançado pela 4AD em 2008, os TV On The Radio estão de volta, num 2011 marcado pela morte do baixista Gerard Smith. O novo álbum chama-se Nine Types Of Light, e teve edição pela Interscope Records, no mês de Abril.

De recordar que os TV On The Radio vão estar em Portugal no próximo dia 9 de Julho, no festival Optimus Alive'11.

"Caffeinated Consciousness", foi o primeiro single.
