Na semana de 28 de Novembro a 2 de Dezembro o Fahrenheit 107.9 tem o prazer de destacar o novo registo dos Thee Oh Sees lançado com o nome Carrion Crawler/The Dream, sob o selo da In The Red Records. Mas aqui fica uma nota: para além do destaque ao novo disco, este freeze! passa mais por ser uma menção honrosa da parte do programa de rock da RUC à banda de John Dwyer, que este ano está a provar que inspiração não lhes falta, ao lançarem o segundo disco de originais.

Carrion Crawler/The Dream é um duplo EP, sucessor do também muito bem conseguido álbum Castlemania, de Junho de 2011, do qual destaco I Need Seed e If I Stay Too Long, cover dos The Creation, originalmente editada em 1967. A banda de São Francisco roça cada vez mais o lo-fi, contudo vai mantendo sempre a base do garage rock de claras influências nos 60's, com o psicadelismo que lhe associamos. Carrion Crawler/The Dream marca também o regresso a uma bateria mais acelerada, depois do mais melancólico Castlemania. Deste duplo EP aconselho mais atenção a três temas: Contraption/Soul Desert, Chem-Farmer e The Dream.
