Não, não nos esquecemos deles. Isto porque também eles não se esqueceram de nós, nem da promessa consecutivamente adiada de uma nova descarga sonora que já vinha desde “There’s no 666 in Outer Space”, onde se multiplicaram, mas sem grandes consequências práticas. Agora Zach Hill e Spencer Seim voltam a ser sozinhos e com isso nos mostram que não é preciso mais do que esse amor entre uma guitarra e uma bateria para que surja o rock. O verdadeiro. O que parece sempre atingir os seus limites, mas o que os desafia e adia mais uma vez. A Sargent House patrocina este regresso às origens, e fá-lo na melhor altura, quando o mundo parece depender cada vez menos do rock e se esquece que é ele que muitas vezes nos mantém à tona, a respirar. Quando é do bom, está claro, e isso é imperativo no Fahrenheit 107.9.

Durante este tempo Zack Hill hiperactivo nos milhares de projectos que se lhe conhecem e também Spencer Seim se espraiou por outros projectos. Mas os Hella restaram numa qualquer gaveta do coração dos dois (sim, é um só coração!) e a consequência é um disco que funciona como uma montanha russa: vamos subindo,cada vez mais depressa, chegamos ao pico e somos lançados à velocidade que nos permite a rajada das baquetas de Hill e as facadas da guitarra de Seim. E mesmo em momentos mais calmos, como “Furthest”, o nosso único desejo é voltar ao topo da montanha para descermos vertiginosamente outra vez.

Acabamos exaustos, é verdade, mesmo quando não saímos do sofá enquanto o escutamos. Pela quantidade de coisas que nos passa pela cabeça, pela rapidez com que desfilam e pela força com que embatem para nos deixar atordoados. Já passavam cá pelo rectângulo!
