John Dwyer é o moto do projeto que está esta semana em destaque no Fahrenheit 107.9. Falamos de Thee Oh Sees, que lançaram em Setembro deste ano a sua última longa duração, Putrifiers II, que é também o 14º álbum de estúdio da banda de São Francisco.

A banda, conhecida pela sua proliferação de albuns e os seus concertos energéticos, sofreu ao longo do tempo várias mutações, e com a banda evoluiu também a sonoridade instrumental e experimental que os vem caracterizando.
Em Putrifiers II, Thee Oh Sees deixam por momentos os palcos como principal fonte de inspiração para passarem a um projeto de estúdio amadurecendo para um modo mais rico onde o rock e o psicadelismo se cruzam provando que é esta, cada vez mais, a tendência.

Bem recebido pela crítica especializada, e também pelo Fahrenheit, numa passagem entre o pop psicadélico solitário de Dwyer para uma força bruta de punk hipnótico faz com que valha a pena ouvir esta longa duração do início ao fim.
