Esta semana o destaque FREEZE! oferece uma mistura de Psych/Garage/Indie Rock com uma pitada de Noise Pop, através do álbum The Dead Age, editado no passado dia 10 de Junho, pela Highwheel Records/Mecca Lecca. Um álbum que pertence ao agora trio de Brooklyn - Unicycle Loves You, liderado pelo vocalista e guitarrista Jim Carroll. 

Face Tattoo é o primeiro single retirado deste quarto disco de originais que sucede o álbum Failure de 2012, para esta banda norte-americana que começou a dar as primeiras "guitarradas" em Agosto de 2006. A formação descrita pela revista SPIN, como uma espécie de "mixtape das melhores épocas do Indie Rock" congrega no seu som as influências dos My Bloody Valentine, The Jesus & Mary Chain, The Velvet Underground, Guided By Voices, The Swirlies, The Cure e The New Pornographers, só para citar alguns entre outros tantos, da longa lista. Os Unicycle Loves You prestam neste disco nº 4, uma homenagem especial ao músico J. Mascis,  líder dos  Dinosaur Jr.  e também a  Don Glen Vlie, mais conhecido no mundo artístico como Captain Beefheart.

The Dead Age entrelaça humor e sarcasmo, distorção e Pop e é prova viva da evolução e das múltiplas transformações na sonoridade e formação, desta banda que já foi quinteto aquando da sua estreia em 2008.
