FREEZE!: Future - Horizons (Requiem Pour Un Twister, 2015)

Após se terem formado em 2012, os Future têm estado num rumo ascendente ao editarem uma mão cheia de singles (bem como o EP "Abyss" em 2013) bem como ao acompanharem nomes como Crocodiles e os The KVB ao vivo. Agora, o trio composto por Brice Delourmel, Yann Canévet e Pauline La Chaceray revela finalmente ao mundo o seu primeiro LP "Horizons", com o selo da editora Requiem Pour Un Twister.

Um trabalho de estúdio que tem chamado a atenção de muitos críticos, graças à sua sonoridade descrita por muitos como o híbrido perfeito entre o shoegaze dos My Bloody Valentine e o post-punk dos Joy Division. No entanto, a verdade é que o espectro sonoro da banda parisiense não se fica por aí, demarcando-se igualmente a presença de elementos da electrónica lúgubre de Nine Inch Nails ou a precisão metálica dos conterrâneos (e lendários embaixadores da vertente coldwave) Asylum Party.

Constituído por uma dezena de temas de natureza frígida mas vigorosa, "Horizons" é o destaque Freeze! desta semana, que poderão ouvir esta semana no Fahrenheit 107.9, de segunda à sexta às 14h.
