Uma das mais recentes confirmações do Amplifest 2016, os Aluk Todolo lançaram a 5 de Fevereiro o seu novo longa duração, Voix, com o selo da francesa Norma Evangelium Diaboli e da norte-americana The Anja Offensive.

O nome Aluk Todolo é originário da região montanhosa de Celebes Meridional (Sulawesi Selatan, no dialecto original), e que dá nome a uma religião ancestral de crenças animistas, significando "o caminho dos antepassados".

Com Antoine Hadjoannou na bateria, Matthieu Canaguier no baixo e Shantidas Riedacker na guitarra, este trio parisiense formado em 2004 traz-nos o melhor do black metal e occult rock, tocando timidamente o krautrock, e que nos faz trazer à memória nomes como os Sunn O))), Boris ou os míticos Amon Düül II.

Composto entre 2012 e 2015, este Voix foi gravado ao vivo em Drudenhaus no decorrer de Maio de 2015, e estará em escuta no Fahrenheit 107.9 ao longo desta semana, na antena da Rádio Universidade de Coimbra.
